Hello Reader, Yesterday, after taking a run along the beach, I saw two older guys walking that I assumed were brothers because of how similar they looked. They looked, for lack of a better word, sad. The slow, unmotivated, slumped walking kind of sad. Just looking at them reminded me of something I heard Tony Robbins say in a podcast interview this past week. He was saying that when we have goals, and we want to accomplish something new or different from what we have done before, most people focus solely on the “Strategy”, on the plan to get there, and on how they are going to accomplish whatever it is they want. He said that this often becomes an issue because it’s the wrong thing to start with and the wrong order to pursue new goals. He said there are actually "3 S" we should focus on, in this specific order:
He said that most people focus on the "strategy", on how they're going to do something, but that most people forget to notice and work on changing the emotional state and energy they bring and the story they are constantly telling themselves about what they can or cannot do. Seeing the two brothers walking made me think of exactly what Tony was talking about.
Because when you understand the narrative you are always telling and where you are standing in that story of your life, you can change it. And changing your story changes your life. Change, at its core, is never a matter of ability. It's not a matter of whether you "can" or you "cannot". Real, long-lasting change is always a matter of motive, of drive, of having strong enough reasons and a "why" that change's important. So, the next time you want to change something in any area of your life, ask yourself this: "What is the driving force beneath the change?" Or simply put, "Why is it important to change this NOW (as opposed to later or in the future)? When you dig deep into yourself and find strong enough reasons why the discomfort of making a change is a non-negotiable in your life, you will realize that you can do just about anything. Make change a MUST (and not a SHOULD). Then, notice the physical, mental, and emotional state, as well as the story you're bringing to it. The 3 Key Decisions We're Constantly MakingIn the same Podcast interview, Tony talked about the 3 decisions we're always making moment to moment.
“You don’t experience life, you experience the portion of life you focus on”. - Tony Robbins. You have the capacity to control your focus and what you give your attention to. So, the question at any given moment of your life is, what are you choosing to focus on right now? 2. The second decision you make at every moment is, “What does this mean?” Whenever something happens in your life, you get to decide if that thing is good, bad, or neutral. If it's the beginning or the end. If it's something that is happening to you or something you're creating. Are you the victim or are you the creator? 3. And then, out of that meaning you assigned to the situation, you get to choose, “What am I going to do next?” Because no matter what the situation or circumstance is in your life, you always get to decide what you're going to do and how you're going to react to it. Do you use the stress, or does the stress use you? Do you use the struggle to move forward, or does the struggle paralyze you from further moving? Manifesting Life Like ThisIf you're constantly saying that you want to do and experience new things in your life, but your days continue to look exactly the same, let’s not call that a lack of clarity, laziness, or even a lack of motivation. Let’s call that what it actually is: Identity Loyalty. Most people aren’t blocked or stuck. They’re just being loyal to the version of themselves they’ve always been. They may plan. They may journal. They may even process. And they talk about what they’re going to do. But then, they wake up and do the same they have always done. 'Manifesting, or simply creating anything new in your life, isn’t about wanting more or having "better, more positive" vibes. It’s about behavior. It's about what you do. Your identity shapes how you think and feel. Action is what you actually do. Results are what become tangible as a result of how you think, feel, and act. But at the core of having different results is acting differently. If your actions don’t change, your life won't change either. That’s why so often, it can feel like we're living the same year on repeat: We have new intentions and new goals. But then, we get the same outcomes. The shift doesn’t come from more information or from more insights. The changes that you want to create come from moving differently for long enough to life to respond. Here's when true action and movement become the real flex. Because the truth:
The real problem is that you're trying to create a new life from an old identity. Manifestation doesn't work that way. It's not only about building a cute vision board. Or writing the list of your resolutions and goals for the year. Or choosing the theme or the word for the year. You can visualize all that you want next all day and all night. But if you don't change what you do daily. If you don't change your habits and patterns, life will keep responding by delivering the same results you have gotten so far. The same money, the same relationships, the same problems, the same beliefs, the same results, the same "almost there"s. So, if you’ve ever thought, “I know exactly what I should be doing, but I don't know why I am still not doing it?” this message is for you. I'm creating an 8-week execution container, where you will stop rehearsing and planning your next level, and you will start living like her. This is where identity meets true, tangible action. Where follow-through becomes a natural part of your life. And so, where life finally has new inputs to respond to. If you’re ready to stop circling your future and start living it right now, be on the lookout. This coming week, I will send you all the details of the program to join us! P.S.: This episode will guide you on the journey to build confidence and expand your comfort zone consistently, reinforcing that confidence is a byproduct of taking courageous, small actions repetitively. Listen to it now if you want to start creating real change in your life. Here on Spotify. Here on Apple Podcasts.

Hey Reader, Have you ever heard the advice, “Sweat the small stuff”? It’s something I have heard Stephen Bartlett talk about on Diary of a CEO. He says this is one of his mantras and what he believes, one of the reasons for his success.I love Stephen Bartlett and his podcast (it's one of my favorite podcasts right now), but I also think that this idea that we should always be "sweating the smallest stuff" is one of the worst pieces of advice when you're early on your journey. Instead, I...
Hey Reader, Can I be honest with you? A few days ago, I was talking with my sister about our goals for the year and what we wanted to accomplish, and we started discussing how easy it is to feel stuck and discouraged if you believe you're never going to be able to do them. And the truth is that for many years, that was me. I would have all these New Year's resolutions (get fit and be more active, run a marathon, get in a long-term romantic relationship, fall in love, put myself out there and...

Hey Reader, When I say I'm a mindset coach, I know that many people struggle to understand what that truly means. For instance, anytime I'm talking on the phone with my sister, if I start to give her any advice or give her my opinion about a situation, she always responds with, "Don't give me coaching." But the thing is that...
